Any student-athlete knows the importance of the team concept. At Life After Sports™, we take that concept beyond the realm of sports and work closely with student-athletes to help prepare them for the real world. We say real world, because here's the reality: 95% of student-athletes in college today will never go on to careers in professional athletics. Those that make it into the pros often have agents or coaches who continue to offer assistance. Those who don't go pro are faced with little or no help. That's where Life After Sports™ comes in. Life After Sports™ was founded specifically and solely to help educate and prepare current and former student-athletes with their transition to Life After Sports™. To prepare "mentally, intellectually, emotionally, physically and spiritually" with the guidance and help of others who have had the same experiences for a career that will be enjoyable and rewarding. We don't trivialize anyone's athletic abilities. Instead, we build on those skills and traits developed through athletic competition - commitment, confidence, teamwork, problem solving, the pursuit of excellence - and help match the goals of student-athletes to the needs of companies throughout North America. In short, we help student-athletes make the transition from the collegiate sports environment to productive, post-competition careers. There is Life After Sports™. And it begins right here. |
